Complaints About 3D Demos – One industry analyst claims better instore demos of 3D are required to sell it to the public. He said the “hype” surrounding 3D is starting to subside and vendors need to do something about it. He says “both 3D TV and IPTV need to be demonstrated and in many stores the environment is not necessarily ideal.” Among the issues is the florescent lighting in many stores which flattens the 3D images shown on an HDTV. An LG executive said “We need to work with retailers to introduce technology and instore environments that are conducive to being able to demonstrate a TV’s capability properly.”
