In this epic adventure, a group of unlikely heroes (including several aliens) band together on a mission to steal the plans for the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction – The Death Star. Felicity Jones, the young daughter of the designer of the Death Star, is the central character, with Diego Luna playing her at first unaccepted sidekick.

This feature covers some time and fits into the Star Wars story before the final attack by the rebel fighters in blowing up the Death Star. It works perfectly and is a rousing adventure to boot. Some of the special effects were made especially for this recent film, such as the original stuck-on drawing of the louvres on the sides of the Star Troopers’ helmets being this time around an actual series of rectangular holes in the helmets, which show up in some closeups.  I’m more of a Star Trek fan, but really enjoyed this film greatly.
