We reviewed “Best of Omnibus Wind Ensemble Here. It contains 19 selections by this award-winning wind ensemble, including music of Bizet, Rossini, Mozart and others. The “30th Anniversary Celebration Album” presents 19 tracks from various Opus 3 SACDs, chosen for their musical value and three-dimensional listening experiences by their award-winning studio recording engineer Jan-Eric Persson. Included are folk performer Eric Bibb, jazzmen Lars Erstand, Kenny Davern and Benny Waters, The Stockholm Guitar Quartet and the Global Percussion Network. Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6 To be one of the ten AUDIOPHILE AUDITION readers during June who will be receiving the two great jazz albums from Putumayo World Music, you need to register this month using our simple non-intrusive email-protected form Here. (We reviewed both jazz albums Here.) 12 jazz legends are heard on the Jazz album, including King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, Mose Allison and Billie Holiday. Ten extraordinary female vocalists are on Women of Jazz, including Cassandra Wilson, Madeleine Peyroux and Stacy Kent. Many of the recordings have been remixed and remastered for enhanced fidelity.
