Wagschal’s interpretations are very satisfying, but if you buy, make sure the technical flaw in the recording has been corrected.
GEORGE ONSLOW: Complete Chamber Music with Winds – Ens. Initium/Ens. Contraste – Timpani (2)
George Onslow wrote dozens of chamber works for strings, very little for winds, but as these two French ensembles demonstrate, his work in the medium is far from negligible.
