Editorial for February 2007
Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6 Our Drawing for February 2007 will be three Audite hybrid surround SACDs from which you may choose if you are one of the 12 names drawn from those who have Registered Here for this month. Massonneau was the son of a French chef at a German court in the 18th century. His highly imaginative three oboe quartets are rooted in the Classical tradition and are full of surprises. Prokofiev’s Fifth Symphony is one of his most heroically monumental works – rich in melodic invention and vital rhythms. It is performed by the leading Siberian symphony orchestra celebrating its 50th anniversary, led by a Russian conductor steeped in Prokofiev’s music. The Brahms disc presents three of the chamber works Brahms wrote for the clarinet, which he loved. The two clarinet & piano sonatas here are both Romantic and vigorous at the same time. To view Audite Musikproduktion’s “About Us” page, Go Here. We will draw the names and contact the 12 winners by email March 1. The winner of our January drawing for the Dussun D9 purist multichannel preamp/amp is Paul McNally of Iowa City, Iowa. Congratulations Paul! Register Here for the Current Drawing […]
