Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6 Our drawing for this month is for a six-CD Mosaic Records package of the Verve Small Group Sessions featuring the rich, sensual and unmistakable alto sax sound of Johnny Hodges – Ellington’s No. 1 alto player, who influenced musicians as diverse as Ben Webster and John Coltrane. The music has been transferred from the original tapes with 24-bit mastering, and the set retails for $96.
