Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6 Mapleshade Studios will be sending a pair of their classical and jazz CDs to a dozen Audiophile Audition readers in this month’s Giveaway. Piano Sonatas in B minor by both Liszt and Chopin are performed on a Fasioli piano by Alan Gampel on Disc 1. Disc 2 is New York Dances, with the tightly-knit Jack Jeffers Big Band. Mapleshade approaches music recording in a radically different way from other labels, informed by  the many sonic tweaks they have discovered.  You’ll hear the difference in warm and natural acoustics.
