Our drawing/giveaway for September is for two complete sets of the Mercury Living Presence: The Collector’s Edition 2 set of 55 CDs (here is our review of it), following on last year’s first Mercury Living Presence box set—an audiophile’s dream. (Which we reviewed here.)  The new set includes some rarities now on CD for the first time and more of the expertly remastered and remixed digital versions of the originals from mostly three-channel Mercury tapes, including some from 35mm mag film. These sonically-spectacular Mercury Living Presence recordings have long been considered part of the Golden Age of classical recording. The set includes the original cover art and liner notes. All you need do for a good chance at this set is to register on our simple form this month, and please visit our September Editorial Page for more details.
